Jurgen Rienhoff creates jewellery at his Birds Hill workshop in Mapua, Nelson, one of the most beautiful natural places in Aotearoa - New Zealand.

Jurgen is working in silver and gold. He is using natural materials like the Abalone shell called Paua in Maori which is native to the water around Aotearoa and mesmerizing in its colour.

'When I first came to New Zealand in the early 90's I was absolutely captured by the beauty of the Paua, the way it reflects light, land and ocean of the South Pacific and this fascination for these precious gem shells never left me!"

Each piece of jewellery in Jurgen's collection is made by hand and unique.
